Michael Shih, President
Company President Michael Shih’s roots in the textile industry run three generations deep beginning with his grandfather over 45 years ago. Born in Taiwan and raised in Thailand, he attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Nüwa Textiles is a way of putting his grandfather’s vision of quality textile manufacturing and innovation into practice while meeting the needs of the modern world.

Larry Harrison, Vice-President
For over 30 years our Vice-President Larry Harrison ran one of the most successful sales agencies in outdoor and action sports known for creativity. He was on the board of the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) serving as Vice-Chair and Nominations Chairman for over nine years. He has been an avid outdoorsman for many years, even marrying his wife Carol atop Mt. Rainier.

Nan-Ciao Su, Environmental Engineer
Su Nan-Ciao is the waste water engineer for Nüwa’s water treatment plant at our Taichung facility. Nüwa is the first large scale weaving plant equipped with a water treatment and recycling facility. Under his system design and command, 2,500 tons of weaving water are collected, purified, recycled and reused each day.

Vivien Hung, Assistant to CEO
Visitors to our factories in Taiwan or China are greeted warmly by Vivien Hung. Vivien’s title is Special Assistant and Advisor to the company’s General Manager and CEO. Her duties range from organizing visits by customers, to overseeing corporate contracts, or recommending the perfect wine. Educated at Ling-Tung University Vivien was in fashion marketing prior to joining the company.

Pum Chamarat, Account Executive
Pum learned how to work hard as a student. She has a Bachelor's degree and MBA in Marketing from Bangkok University and an MBA in Finance from CSU, Fullerton. Pum says she is able to apply the lessons she learned almost daily in developing complex textile programs for clients. After seven years as a stock broker, Pum enjoys the close customer contact she has at Nüwa.

Gigi Siriyodhin, Account Executive
Gigi admits to being a "glass half full girl." This bodes well for customers because she is on the lookout for problems so others can share her optimistic viewpoint. When you oversee millions of yards of textile orders, a sunny outlook insures they are done right with a close attention to detail. Gigi has a Master’s degree from CSU, San Bernadino in Public Administration.
